Philip Morris International Launches New IQOS ILUMA i in Japan to Accelerate the Achievement of a Smoke-Free Future

On March 13, 2024, Philip Morris International launched IQOS ILUMA i in Japan, marking the 10th anniversary of IQOS as its most innovative heat-not-burn device yet.

Available in three models—IQOS ILUMA i PRIME, IQOS ILUMA i и IQOS ILUMA i ONE.

All devices are equipped with a touch screen, Pause Mode, FlexPuff for customizable sessions, extended FlexBattery, and eco-friendly materials like renewable aluminum and recycled plastic.

Powered by SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEMâ„¢, it emits 95% fewer harmful chemicals than cigarettes on average.

PMI CEO Jacek Olczak highlighted its role in accelerating a smoke-free future, with smoke-free products now at 37% of revenues and a goal of over two-thirds by 2030.
